Frontier Privacy Policy

Frontier helps you learn through short cards, practice problems, and progress feedback.
Information we use
When you sign in with Google, our authentication provider, Supabase, receives your Google account identifier and basic profile information such as your name and email address. Frontier uses your identity to maintain your account. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, or Google Drive files.
We store the learning profile you provide, including grade level, learning goals, prior experience, and preferences. We also store learning activity such as answers, attempts, hints, confidence, skips, bookmarks, practice sessions, and estimates of your skills. These records let us personalize learning and resume your progress.
We use session cookies to keep you signed in. We use operational records and rate-limit counters to maintain security and reliability; application rate-limit IP keys are hashed with a server secret.
How information is used and shared
We use information to provide your account, personalize learning, track progress, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot the service. Frontier does not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Vercel hosts the website and Supabase provides authentication, database, and file storage. Google provides sign-in. These providers process information needed to provide their services. Authorized administrators may access information when needed to operate, support, or secure Frontier. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law.
Your choices and retention
Account settings provide a download of your application profile and learning records. You may delete your account after signing in again. Deletion removes your active learning records and sign-in identity; shared learning content is retained. A minimal account identifier and deletion status remain to prevent delayed requests from recreating the deleted account. Security and administrative audit records may remain. Existing backups may retain earlier records until those backups are removed; deletion does not immediately erase every backup copy.
Audience
Frontier is for people ages 13 and older. Children under 13 may not create an account. We ask for an age group before Google sign-in, without collecting a date of birth. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove the account and associated information.
